         Its pretty clear on the website yeah. If its got great fast servers and a well supported community then I think it could be money well spent.

    Mad Catz, Inc. is currently offline for scheduled Maintenance
    for 1 hour……Been like that since it was announced.

    There was an issue at launch that payments were not processing, so they have taken it down till its fixed, but its a generic 1 hour maintenance message – Im sure they will make another announcement when its back up again.

    I can’t preorder. I’m going to be very sad/mad if I miss the founders package because the preorder link is not working…

    Just spoke with Tech Support and they said they would be closing down for the day but promised to call me with an update?????

      with the world and I am now in receipt of the activation code and necessary
      link to install this exciting program. Last evening the Team at Thunder Hawk
      Studios worked on this challenge and literally spent a few hours until the
      technical issues were fully resolved.

      If this level
      of commitment and attention to detail is indicative of how the Mad Katz Team
      will support this product we are all in for one fantastic ride!

    I LOVE the idea of Combat Pilot. I currently fly all of the DCS products, as well as Prepar3d and X-Plane. I don’t mind having to buy FSX on top of the Combat Pilot add-on and the extra planes. I wouldn’t mind to pay for the online experience, since it looks like there may be some cool stuff with instructor pilots, check rides, etc. You can’t expect to get that kind of attention for free and I’m not poor.

    BUT… I’ve got a full-time job and a family, so I can’t necessarily commit to flying all the time to make a monthly payment worthwhile. Monthly fees are better suited to people who can really dedicate time to getting their money’s worth. I would, however, gladly purchase pay-as-you-go “time credits” or some similar scheme. Heck, maybe I’d even spend more on a pay-as-you-go basis, but I’d feel better about it.

    Anyway, the bottom line is that if you offered a pay-as-you-go option I’d be typing my credit card number into your order form rather than typing this comment, so I hope that you’ll consider this request.

    Monthly charges, are you guys nuts!
    There have been no less that 12 very ambitious online multiplayer games start up over the last year and they have all dropped back to free to play. Secret World, StarWars Knights OTOR, LOTR online, Star Trek etc. etc.

    Pay for the game and you get better patching and bug squashing. Don’t pay and you got very few people working on the game.

    Besides if you can buy a computer that magnitude to play a game like this then surely you can afford to pay 11€ a month for a game subscription. People always want everything free. People spend more money on other sports/hobbies monthly. Just keep on asking more freetoplay and soon we got online games with extremely bad quality and rushed release dates with tons of bugs (this is allready happening).

    And when the game becomes freetoplay then there will be more trollers ect. that don’t take the game seriously, ruining all other players gameplay.

    I greatly hope that they won’t make it freetoplay.

      Reho are you Ok? You know there most likely more people that work on free to play games than paid ones and work on ‘free’ patches etc.. So what about – BMS, DCS, Seven G? DCS has an Auto updater BMS guy’s take the own time and make new scenery new airccraft for free to play,  I work extremely hard for my cash and I don’t really want to spend it on something I won’t be on 100% of the time.  Dude bugs will always be in game you can’t help that, either pay to play or free to play.. No matter what, there a millions of systems out there and we are all human we can’t get everything right hence there is beta’s and testers. And if you didn’t know there are admins, if you have a problem report it to an ‘admin’ I’m sure they will help. 

      And if you want a pay to play you might as well go join the real defence force and get paid for it.

    And besides. If you play 1 hour a day for 11 days a month then it comes 1€ per gamerun. Try compare that to other hobby expenses. 

    And if you manage to play 2 hours every day for a month then guess how much that costs you per hour? Approx 20 cnt.

    I just hate people who think everything should be free, never want to pay for others work. Just ruins all quality in gaming.

    As i have said a while ago. The purchase site is UNSERVICEABLE ,  NOT operational.Â
    Unable to make any payments whatsoever.
