Within the Combat Pilot community exist a unique opportunity to join or form a Combat Pilot Squadron. These organizations act as small groups better equipped to respond too and aid in the personal growth of each member as well as becoming a focal point for the coordination of training and combat operations. Normally aviation squadrons operate between 10 and 24 aircraft, but because of the large amount of Combat Pilot Members our squadrons will be organized a little differently. As with actual squadrons, each will have a CO and XO which are responsible for the overall conduct and training schedule, but these potentially large squadrons will then be divided up into Flights consisting of 12 aircraft each; Each Flight to have a Flight Leader – a mini CO if you will. Flights will further be divided into 3 Divisions of 4 aircraft each and 6 Sections, each with 2 aircraft. This system will allow Combat Pilot to group members from the same time zone or friends from around the world; giving each an opportunity to fly together. Flights will be assigned a color and callsign, the color to be displayed on the tail fin.
